Our story

Max Air Service was born out of long weekends, hard lessons, and a relentless commitment to doing things the right way, even when it wasn’t easy. For years, our multi-engine operations relied on a maintenance hangar two hours away in Prescott. We learned a lot there, the highs, the lows, the long nights, but the logistics were brutal. Every 100-hour inspection meant ferry flights, coordination puzzles, and time lost that we knew could be spent better.

Everything changed the day we brought maintenance home to Falcon Field.

Our first 100-hour inspection at our own hangar wasn’t just a milestone, it was the moment the future snapped into focus. With our A&P IA, Dan, fresh off Continental training (and a perfect 100% on his test), the team knocked out a full DA42 100-hour inspection in a single day. A marathon? Yes. But the kind of day that leaves you fulfilled, not drained.

That’s the DNA of Max Air Service.

We’re builders. We’re problem-solvers. We’re obsessed with improving, not because it’s easy, but because the mission matters.

As Warren Buffett said, “The real luxury in life is doing what you love every day with the people you love.”
This work, this privilege, is exactly that for us.

Backed by the grit and heart of Thompson Airmotive, and driven by the partnership with Flight Stars here at Falcon Field Airport, Max Air Service stands for precision, speed, and a work ethic that doesn’t clock out when the weekend hits.

This isn’t just maintenance.
It’s a mindset.
And it’s only the beginning.
